Rent Increase — Washington
Washington requires at least 90 days’ notice (Rev. Code Wash. § 59.18.140 ↗). 90 days' written notice (EHB 1217, eff. 5/7/2025; 30 days for subsidized tenancies). Increases capped at the lesser of 7% + CPI or 10%, and no increase during the first 12 months. Seattle requires 180 days.
