Hawaii requires at least 10 days’ notice (Haw. Rev. Stat. § 521-68 ↗). 10 calendar days after written demand (Act 278 SLH 2025, eff. 2/5/2026, pilot through 2/4/2028); extends to 20 days if the tenant schedules mediation.
